10.06.21 E-Mobility: DKV acquires GreenFlux

European mobility service provider DKV acquires GreenFlux Assets BV, the leading European software platform provider for electric vehicle (EV) charging. This represents a further step in DKV’s efforts to support fleet drivers and their organisations as they switch to lower-carbon transport and provides strong synergies with DKV’s existing mobility support applications. This acquisition marks DKV’s further expansion into the fast-growing e-mobility charging market and will provide critical competencies, helping DKV to further scale their overall EV charging offer across Europe.

“I am very proud that we have expanded our EV capabilities to this extent and thus provide more services to our customers' e-fleets throughout Europe”, says Marco van Kalleveen, CEO at DKV Mobility. “This dynamic growth shows that electromobility is developing at a rapid pace throughout Europe. In this context, we want to drive the transition towards a more sustainable future of mobility”. Explaining why DKV is the ideal company to support GreenFlux’s growth strategy, Floris van den Broek, CEO of GreenFlux, says, “Over the past ten years, GreenFlux developed its software platform for EV charging, expanded its reach into 28 countries, and in 2021 was awarded a Financial Times FT-1000 position for fast growth. We look forward to taking the next step by being part of the DKV Mobility Group”. GreenFlux's offering includes a complete range of solutions for charge point and mobility service operators, enabling core, hardware-independent EV smart charging capabilities such as charging point and charge card management, roaming, payments and charge duration transaction processing.

20.05.21 DKV Mobility cooperates with transport platform

The mobility provider DKV Mobility and, the digital logistics platform for land transport, have agreed on a close cooperation. Customers can now access the platform free of charge via DKV LIVE, DKV's digital fleet and refueling assistant. This brings the tasks of fleet and transport management even closer together via digital services. In combining both solutions, dispatchers can further optimize the use of vehicles. This is because DKV customers now benefit from the load-matching function integrated in which is used to receive freight offers based on the vehicle position of the trucks transmitted in real time. Carriers can avoid empty runs and plan to transport in a route- and resource-optimized way. A positive side effect is that the position-optimized freight also offers DKV Live users to mitigate CO2 and thus protect the environment. To do this, they have access to the loads of more than 40,000 users of the network throughout Europe. Thus, in addition to the DKV solution, they also have access to the freight of verified Eastern European forwarders.
